In his latest stunt to bring attention to the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo openly defies the Fulani killers who have killed about 7,000 Christians this year along with their Islamist colleagues.
“I don’t know if I’ll be the next, but I’ve already told my family, don’t give one kobo (for a ransom),” says the fiery preacher in Plateau State. “My grave will speak. My blood will raise war that will lead to Christian liberation. That day is coming; I’m just waiting for them.” A kobo is a cent of the Nigerian currency.
President Trump has publicly humiliated Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for not taking control of the volatile northern state, where the Fulani have killed Christians and seized their land. The Nigerian president denies there’s a genocide against Christians.
As chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations assemblies of the Barkin Ladi district of Plateau State, Dachomo alleges that the Fulani have him on a hit list, something they have officially denied. An alternative is getting kidnapped, but he defied the possibility, “covenanting” with his family to pay NOransom.

“My blood will be useful in the grave,” Dachomo says emphatically on social media. “I know Jesus has approved that for me. I’ll be more dangerous in the world of the dead. I will ascend to Paradise, but from Paradise, I will make the Muslim uncomfortable that will lead them to repent.”
Dachomo has presided over numerous 50 mass burials of up to 500 people, he alleged on Piers Morgan on Nov. 19. He has appealed to the United States and the International Criminal Court to intervene.
The hactivist group Anonymous allegedly surfaced a video circulated among Islamist militants that called for his assassination within seven days and ordering his head to be cut off. Nigeria’s Major General E.F. Oyinlola, commander of the Joint Task Force Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), responded by visiting Dachomo and promising military protection.
A fellow Islamist group, Boko Haram, which kidnaps Christian school girls for sex slaves, is also reportedly threatening the fearless faith leader.
“Boko Haram terrorists have placed bounty on my head but I do not fear death,” Dachomo says.

Due to the ongoing slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, President Trump has designated the country a Country of Particular Concern for religious freedom, which can entail restrictions of aid and trade.
Described by watch groups as the most dangerous nation in the world for Christians, Nigeria has shown an exasperating tolerance of violence by non-state actors like Boko Haram and ISWAP, blasphemy laws in 12 northern states leading to mob violence and imprisonments, and failures to protect religious minorities.
