Gage, Till and Kaden Helms, triplets from North Carolina who post Christian content, have gone viral, and what that tells us about this generation is that they are sick of fake content, shock content, vanity, emptiness, woke-ness and all the other inauthentic, dark content the media offers.
These guys are real. Their videos are cute and uplifting. In a short time, the triplets have amassed 355,000 followers on Instagram. They spread the Gospel, pray for followers and share uplifting messages in relatable ways.
With a Gen Z sense for timing, style and substance, they serve up positivity and bold faith. The Helms have struck a nerve with Gen Z’s quest for deeper meaning: “Jesus brings joy, not just rules.”
In one video, the triplets walk into a gym, all in matching workout gear. Each one grabs a different piece of equipment.
With dumbbells, Kaden says, “Time to get spiritually swole, brothers.”
Striding on the treadmill, Till quips, “Cardio for Christ! I’m running the race Paul talked about… except this thing’s set to incline 10, pray for me!”
On the bench press, Gage jests, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me—except apparently this barbell!” As he struggles, the other two rush to help lift it.
The visual symmetry of these identical triplets, the camaraderie, the corny clean jokes makes for a unique twist among content creators who often just turn darker and darker in the race for viewers.
Gen Z is spearheading the rebellion against the rebellion. If previous generations rebelled against the system, morality and their parents, the Helms are showing that the new rebel follows God, not the world.
