A cluster munition warhead — banned by 110 nations* because they hit civilians — fell on Eilat, southern Israel, today, injuring a 12-year-old boy and a 39-year-old man. The Iranian missile was likely struck down by Israel’s anti-missile technology, but its cluster feature meant mini explosive still could blow up.
By contrast, when the U.S. hit Shajarah Tayyebeh girls’ elementary school in Minab, Iran, killing around 175, mostly children, on Feb. 28, U.S. Senator John Kennedy apologized for what later was blamed on faulty intelligence: “I think it was a terrible, terrible mistake… I’m sorry it happened.”
This is difference between Iran and Israel. The Jewish state and the U.S. target ONLY military sites and military enemies. Iran targets civilians.
On Friday, Iran’s Chief Justice Gholam‑Hossein Mohseni‑Eje’i was giving a press conference when bombs fell around. He didn’t flinch because he was among a throng of civilians (IRGC supporters) and HE KNEW that the Americans and the Israelis would not hit him when he was surrounded by civilians.

Aware of this, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has been hiding in mosques, hospitals and schools.
The people-suppressing paramilitaries, the Basij forces, started holding anti-uprising checkpoints in tunnels and under bridges to not get droned. They’re very much afraid and doing what they can to stay alive.
In Canada, Shi’ite cleric Hojjatoleslam Morteza Tayyebi bravely ran away from Iran. He was filmed arriving in Toronto airport and later reported to have been granted citizenship in Canada, which is run by far-left politicians who love Islamists.

Also on Friday, as hardcore IRGC were celebrating Al-Quds Day — an Iranian observance calling for the decimation of all Israelis — the Israelis bombed the Quds Force headquarters (the foreign terrorist organization targeting not only Israel but also Americans).
On Saturday, American bombers hit 90 military targets on the Kharg Island, the centerpiece of Iran’s petroleum exports. It sent a clear message that the days of the Iranian Regime making money with oil to fund international terrorism are over.

The Americans were careful NOT to hit oil refining or storage facilities, as whoever takes over the Iranian government after the IRGC will need these for their economy.
Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi announced plans to avoid a power vacuum when the IRGC is completely destroyed. A transitional government will be led by Iranian immigrant Dr. Saeed Ghasseminejad, an economist who opposes the regime.
“To ensure that Iran does not experience a disruption of governance after the fall of the Islamic Republic, … (we have been) identifying and selecting qualified women and men to serve in the Transitional System,” Pahlavi said, per translation.
Any attempt to form a new democratic government must entail the hunting down and rooting out of every IRGC Islamist fanatic. The only organization that can do that is the Iranian Army.
A comparison may aid understanding: Nazi Germany had the SS, but they needed the German Army to support Hitler, which they did. Think of the IRGC like the SS. If the bigger and more powerful army turns on the IRGC, they’re done for.
Accordingly, another video has emerged of an army defector threatening the end of the mullahs and the ayatollahs.
“You are not the leader or the commander of the army,” he says, per translation. “You are just a hollow, straw scarecrow that only works by noise. All the soldiers share the same dignity. Your father is dead, very soon are you as well. All the other rats will be exterminated.”

His voice is scrambled and face hidden by a military balaclava mask, so the video’s authenticity cannot be verified. But the video gives hope that behind it there are thousands of Iranian soldiers ready to do the boots-on-the-ground work once the bombing phase is over.
He was holding a picture of the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who is reportedly mangled and in the hospital after being bombed. Then he burned the photo, a gesture being repeated on video postings from all across Iran.
