Jenny McCarthy says the death of Charlie Kirk pushed her close to Jesus.
“Jesus is my homie. I’ve always been a follower of Christ, but when [Charlie] passed, I completely surrendered,” says the Masked Singer gameshow host. I am so devoted. I started Bible study immediately…We just have become devout since Charlie’s passing.”
After the Turning Point USA ‘s founder’s death, McCarthy struggled. She posted a video of herself worshipping God.

“I was so broken…when he was shot, I prayed and prayed and prayed, and then I was calling every doctor I possibly could, saying, ‘Tell me that this wound is something that could be healed,’” she said. “With every horrible thing, if you find the good, it can help you move forward. Look at the mass awakening. Look at how many people came closer to God, even including myself.”
Born on Chicago‘s South Side in a working class family, McCarthy was wild and young when she was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Year in 1993 and then became co-host of MTV’s dating show Singled Out. Her quick tongue and brash style led to comedic roles on TV and movies like BASEketball and Scream 3.

When her son, Evan, was diagnosed with autism in 2005, she began to search for answers and questioned the vaccine schedule for babies. She married television host Donnie Wahlberg in August 2014 and became the step mother to his two children.

No one knew she was a fan of Charlie Kirk, whose accused murderer is standing trial now. Apparently, she was quite impressed by the man who debated and won the hearts of Gen Z on college campuses.
““He changed the world. He saved the world. I mean, imagine having that as your legacy,” McCarthy says. “You brought all those people closer to Christ.”
