Henceforth, David Wood shall be known as a 4D chess master.
Trap set and sprung.
Just a week ago, it appeared that Wood made a shocking confession: he had committed statutory rape with a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old when he was 18 before he became a Christian. He did this… in a feud with a fellow Christian YouTuber?
Now, it appears it was all just a trap — and the Muslim YouTubers who had been bedeviled by two decades of his exposes of Islam pounced on the bait.
“David Wood admitted to raping two underage girls and ‘forcibly sodomizing’ them,” blasted Daniel Haqiqatjou (rhymes with Pikachu).
“David Wood is a disgusting pedo,” bristled @One_Dawah. “This is the same guy who has been attacking Islam for decades, yet he himself is guilty of what he accuses Islam of.”
“Wow, we have a pedophile apologist over here,” wrote @amxlfc, under a Palestinian flag. “You don’t really care about the child rape victims at all. David Wood is running out freely and must face justice for his child rape crimes.”
More tweets threw salt in his wounds in attempted to bury him once and for all.
While the carpet-bombing raged online, Woods sipped his coffee and waited an appropriate amount of time. When he responded, it was evident that he wasn’t in panic mode or damage control.
Instead, he assumed the air of calm, deliberate, cold, logic-building prosecutor, as with so many of his monologues.
The Muslims had fallen into his trap.
How so? For decades they have argued that you can’t call Mohammad a pedophile for marrying 6-year-old Aisha. According to the hadith, he waited to consummate the marriage when she was 9. They argue she was already well into puberty and was a woman. You can’t call it rape, either.
But when David confessed to statutory rape, they used the very words they said were improper. In so doing, they authorized calling Mohammed a pedophile and a rapist, Wood explained.
Wood’s case was one of a sociopathic antisocial youth who reveled in flouting rules. He attempted to kill his own father by hammering him on the head, got arrested, was released on bail due to a prosecutor’s mess-up and did more mayhem before his trial.
He choked a co-worker until he foamed at the mouth with blood. He beat up several people. He tried to burn down the house of a fellow who had annoyed him with him and his parents inside. He went to parties where alcohol, marijuana and girls who threw themselves on bad boys were abundant in 1994-’95 in Virginia, he says.
“I used to sit around fantasizing about peeling people’s skin off,” he says.
Fortunately, he was convicted in his trial and locked away. “It was really, really good for the world that I went to jail,” he says. It kept him from doing more evil.
In prison, Wood celled with a convict who because he became a Christian turned himself into police for 25 felonies. He couldn’t stand the guilt. The police had no clue who had committed the crimes, but because he confessed, he was sent to prison for decades.
In prison, Wood determined to show his cellmate that Christianity was bunch of lies. He read the Bible to disprove it. A funny thing happened: eventually he believed in Jesus and cried out to God. He became a Christian. (He now compares himself to the demon possessed man of the Gadarenes.)
Upon his release, Wood reconciled with his dad, went to college, evangelized his Muslim roommate successfully and made a career out of winning Muslims to Christ. He got a doctorate, married, had kids and began uploading videos on YouTube.
Wood is not known for being sensitive (he still retains some of the sociopathic tendency to lack empathy). So if read in the hadith insinuations that Mohammad had homosexual tendencies, he brought it out. If the translation of word could mean that Mohammad donned a dress, Wood demonstrated it by donning a dress on his video.
While much of the Christian world cringed at his confrontational approach, Muslims were getting saved.
In the back-and-forth with Muslim debaters — who are known as Dawah guys — he conceded on many of his early controversial assertions. Fine, he said, I won’t call Mohammed a rapist and a pedophile anymore.
Until they defined what a rapist and pedophile is by accusing David of it.
There’s really no excusing what David did in his sinful days; the Romeo Rule might apply (where the male lover is just slightly older than his female teen counterpart) exonerating him of a crime. David himself condemns his actions.
From his video response, it doesn’t appear that Wood has any concern whatsoever of these girls showing up and pressing charges against him.
They’ll be no stopping Wood now. If you called Wood a pedo and a rapist, you authorized the use of the term for the prophet Mohammad.
“Remember when we decided how we would use terms like rape and pedophile?” Wood said. “Obviously, we’ll be talking about Mohammad, who did something with a prepubescent 9-year-old girl. What’s the word for sex with a young girl? According to our Dawah friends, rape. And the person who does it is what? According to our Dawah friends, a pedophile. It’s official now.”
