While demographic data shows the Muslims taking over the world population, the Holy Spirit is working off radar by giving dreams and visions for untold hundreds of thousands converting to Jesus.
“The reality is kind of jaw-dropping,” says Ismail Youssef, a Saudi convert. “We are seeing reports from like Morocco to Iraq, from Albania all the way to Ethiopia, of individuals experiencing either visions or dreams or quote unquote spiritual beings talking to them, telling them to go and encounter Christians, talk to Christians, find out where they live, how they worship.
“One way really is through reading Bibles,” he adds. “Bibles have been a way that a lot of Muslims are coming to understand who Jesus is by simply reading the four gospels and that has been widespread.”

So while there’s bad news, there’s good news. While terrorists use the harshest Qur’anic verses to kill Christians and Jews, conversions to Christ are ripping Islamdom asunder from within. In almost all cases, they convert secretly to avoid the prescribed retribution in Islam, so numbers come more by inference than straight data.
Ismail Youssef, who now lives in the United States, prayed at age 13: “God, I need to know who you are. Are you the Muslim God? Are you the Christian God?”
“I had this dream of Christ on the cross just staring at me in his beauty and glory,” Ismail says. “And when I woke up, I was in so much peace and joy.” Four years later, he met a missionary and gave his life to Christ. Today, he is a Christian apologist who reaches out to Muslims online.
As recorded in Islam, God speaks frequently to people through dreams and visions. This is where the true God is meeting many, many Muslims like Ismail.

“Half of the mosques in Iran are closing right now because a lot of Iranians are not Muslims any more, and a lot of them are becoming Christians,” Ismail says. “Underground churches are sky-rocketing.”
When Ismail converted, his father “felt like he really lost his son. The only unforgiveable sin is to confess Jesus as Lord, and I was doing that. He was very hurt,” Ismail says. “But now, thanks be to God, we have a talking relationship, and I get to see him every once in a while.”
He is praying for his family.
