Sevda went right up to the front of the protests to shout at the men with guns in Karaj, Iran. As a 16-year-old, she had no fear.
That was the day the Iranian Regime ordered IRGC and Basij forces to shoot protesters in the face, to kill and to blind. Sevda got shot in the heart and died instantly.
“If anything happens to me, remember me on the day of freedom,” she had told her family and friends.

As Trump teases the idea that the U.S. gets out of the war and won’t risk any lives with boots on the ground, Iranians all over the country have to face the stark reality that 30K+ of their children gave their lives for freedom.
Sevda’s mom fled Iran to Northern Iraq, where she is attempting to start a new life.

Sameera found Jesus.
“Since finding Christ, many things have come into my life. I feel a special peace and I have entrusted my life and my destiny to him,” Sameera tells. “Today, even though I am enduring a great deal, I feel a deep and special peace because of Christ.”
She has been baptized.
“The Islamic Republic is a cancer and someone has to destroy it. If that doesn’t happen, I will be deeply saddened,” Sameera says. “I cannot accept anything less because we have lost so many young people.”
