The Chosen set the Guinness Book of World Records for the most translated series of all time. It is translated into 126 languages.
The record broke its own record of 86 languages.
Just as The Jesus Film was widely translated and dispersed and brought untold millions to Christ, it is hoped that The Chosen will reap a new harvest of souls.
“I’m betting the chosen breaks the record again next year,” says CBN reporter Billy Hallowell. “There are thousands of languages, over 7,000. This show is opening the door to people opening their Bible.”
The Chosen is intriguing the unchurched with gripping dramatization of fictionalized backstories mixed with scripture.
