Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has reportedly given the order to shoot to kill protesters, but it appears the majority of security forces are not carrying out the order. Only 36 lives have been taken.
Meanwhile, the people have effectively taken over the cities of Abdanan, Malekshahi, Torbat-e Heydarieh and Mashhad. Elsewhere, they are thronging Tehran, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Ilam, Qom, Yazd, Zanjan, Shahrekord, Babol, Marvdasht, Borujerd and some 120 cities nationwide.

Up until the uprising ignited 11 days ago, Crown Prince in exile Reza Pahlavi had registered 75,000 defectors from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. But since people have taken to the streets, Pahlavi’s site crashed because of so many requests to pledge allegiance to the son of the Shah ousted in 1979.
An Iranian police officer, not showing his identity and disguising his voice, uploaded a video urging protesters to stay in the streets. “You are the victor in this field,” he said, per translation. “We are winning. Rest assured that I and many of my colleagues are with you. We support you and are waiting for the right moment to join you and, God willing, cleanse my country of the filth.”

Similarly, an integrant of the Basij Unit paramilitary force chided his colleagues who obeyed the Supreme Leader’s command to kill. He pledge allegiance to the people, although with hidden identity and voice scrambled, and promised an end of the regime.
“Do not empty the streets,” he said. “If you leave it they will identify you and arrest you. Do not forget the light triumphs over darkness.”
Iranians have gushed love for President Donald Trump, who warned military intervention if the Iranian regime kills its citizens. Trump re-shared a post from six months ago calling for regime change. Iranians have spray-painted pleas for support and love on streets of Iran.

The people have dismantled and disabled some of the video cameras the regime uses to spy on its citizens.

British MP Tom Tugendhat announced in Parliament that Russian cargo planes had landed in Tehran, suspected of bringing guns and ammunition AND of extracting gold in preparation for Ali Khamenei’s rapid flight from the country.
An Iranian report said 800 Iraqi Shi’ite militia were brought in from its proxies to impose the will of the IRGC. It won’t be enough. Videos circulating on X and elsewhere show the protesters are getting guns (possibly from police station takeovers) and using them.
