At the moment Brittni De La Mora read in the Bible Revelations 2:20-23, she realized she HAD TO GET OUT OF THE P*RN INDUSTRY.
Nevertheless, I have this against you: you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into s3xual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.
“I felt God say this isn’t the life that I have for you the life that I have for you will overflow with so much love peace and joy and if you would quit the p*rn industry today I would bless your life like no man ever could,” Brittni relates.
Don’t let the p*rn star have a Bible. It did a number on these 10 former p*rnography stars:
To prep for filming, Crystal Bassette was numbing herself with alcohol and painkillers.
And she was reading her Bible — on set.
“I felt like (p*rn) wasn’t my calling,” she recalls and got out.

Joshua Broome aspired to acting and modeling but worked as a bartender to pay bills. Some s3xy ladies approached him and invited to consider filming p*rn. At first he was reluctant, but as bills mounted, he took the easy way out.
I didn’t really think about what I was doing,” he explains. “As a person I really stopped existing. I started isolating myself very quickly from my friends and family because of shame and guilt.”
Broome became a star, filming about 1,000 titles in six years.
But he felt filthy.
One day, he got in his car, crying and driving, driving and crying. From Los Angeles, he drove home to Mom in South Carolina. At first he worked as a personal trainer but then met the woman who became his wife. She introduced to him the Gospel, and today he is a pastor and an anti-p*rn advocate.
Crissy Moran, like so many others, felt financially trapped by the industry. “They would want me to say things that I don’t say and do things I don’t do,” she confides. “But I got used to it.”
Then she met Chris. “Do you believe in God?” he asked her.
“At that moment, I just got chills all over,” she explains. “I hadn’t heard anything about God in so long.”
She now works for Treasures, a non-profit that helps survivors of exploitation and s3x-trafficking.
Born to a Baptist pastor, Nala Ray rebelled when she shot up on OnlyFans. She made $85,000 in her first month.
Eventually, the thrill of oodles of dinero wore off. She too was reduced to tears by the degradation, the dehumanization.
She grabbed her Bible and asked for answers. God responded as only he can.
She shut down her OnlyFans and eventually married Marine Jordan Giordano, the man who looked at her as person, not a piece of meat.
April Garris‘s problem was her husband, who pushed her into the industry for the money, “the person who was supposed to be my protector.”
“The depression drives you into a really dark place, I guess the breaking point,” she remembers.

For Shelley Lubben, the path leading to her to performing in p*rn videos started when she was only 9 years old. She was s3xually abused hetero- and homos3xually.
“I was devastated and I had no one to go to. I had no safe place,” Shelley says. “I was in shock. I felt violated. I felt dirty, and I thought it was my fault.”
It seemed no one cared for her. First, she became a stripper. Then she got recruited to movies.
“I was completely lied to,” Shelley says. “After doing about 30 movies of being subjected to violence, s3x trafficking, drugs and alcohol — l oh yeah we snorted meth on the set; of course nobody does p*rn sober –I got burned and I caught two s3xually transmitted diseases and I tried to commit suicide.”
They pumped her stomach to save her life. Shelley has permanent scars on her wrists from other suicide attempts.
“We’re in so much pain. We have no other place to go,” she explains. “So God answered me and a pastor’s son came into my life. He was the first man to look into my eyes and care about Shelly. He didn’t look anywhere else. He talked to my face.”
Randy Spears also came to Los Angeles to break into movies — traditional ones, not p*rnographic ones.

But since roles were sparse and food grew sparser, he slipped into adult videos to pay bills. Once he was in, it was almost impossible to get out. He became a star and lived like a celebrity.
“I absolutely broke down,” says the prodigal son. “I knew I was hurting him so terribly and hurting myself. I cried out to him in desperation. I said I’ve had enough please please take me. That was a turning point. I felt his love and forgiveness and peace.”
Roxanne Grace got abused by her boyfriend one night only to wake up to the man of the house abusing her in the morning.
“Every guy that was close to my heart or close to me in my life abused me in some way,” Roxanne says.
It was almost inevitable that she fell into p*rn at a young age.
“I was his young girl making lots of money, getting lots of attention,” she says. “But at the end of the day when I would go home by myself at night, I’m back to Roxanne, and I felt like I was dying in myself.
“I struggled with a lot of fear,” she adds. “I was afraid of being alone. I was afraid of men. I was afraid of my thoughts I was afraid of dying.
“I went into this crazy panic attack,” Roxanne explains. “My body would shake uncontrollably. It felt like my heart was going to pop out of my chest cuz it was beating so fast.”

Until she remembered hearing about God’s love when she was a child. She looked for a church and attended.
“Immediately I felt the father’s loving arms,” Roxanne says. “I knew I was home. I’m like, Lord, you know I’ve done so much. Here I’m sitting in the father’s arms, and I could feel his love and his acceptance.”
Since Alia Cheyyene would sometimes feel “uncomfortable” and drop the filming at the last minute, one time the man driving her to the shoot stole her shoes and her phone and dropped her off in an agricultural area of Southern California.
Left to wander and find her way home, she also found her way home to the Lord.
“When Jesus met the woman at the well, he tells her you’ve been thirsty (but) this is where it is: Whoever drinks from me will never be thirsty again,” Alia says. “That’s what it’s been for me ever since then.”
After filming some 300 titles during her 7-year career, Brittni exited the industry and married a pastor. Today she evangelizes at p*rn conventions.
