In a move that smacks of Chinese dictatorship or dystopian Big Brother OR even Biblical End Times prophecy, the United Kingdom is moving forward with plans to force citizens to carry a digital ID that would carry their personal data.
An initial plan to make the ID a requirement to get a job, the extreme-Left Labour Government is nevertheless carry out the essential plan of the digital ID.

“My long-term personal political view has always been in favor of ID cards, and in fact I supported the last Labour Government’s introduction of ID cards. The first bill I spoke on in Parliament was the ID Cards Bill,” says UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood.
The IDs would help with illegal workers, help accessing services, reduce identity fraud and system overload and help with inclusion, proponents say.
But Big Brother Watch‘s interim director, Rebecca Vincent, said in September the IDs are “uniquely harmful to privacy, equality and civil liberties.” (Big Brother was the word for intrusive, surveilling government in George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984.)
The Communist Chinese Party (CCP) is phasing in a social credit system to reward good citizens and punish opponents of Communist ideals. As yet, it remains limited to region databases. The CCP says it enforces tax compliance, court judgments and unpaid fines, business regulations, financial fraud and contract breaches by blacklisting with bans on airline or high-speed rail travel, restrictions on loans or credit, limits on government jobs or licenses and public naming and shaming.

End Times prophecy in the Bible says that under the One World Government of the Beast, no one will be allowed to buy or sell without the number of the Beast imprinted upon him. That’s why Christians who take the Bible seriously are always resistant to anything remotely similar, as was being done in America and the UK with the Covid lockdowns.
“All that digital ID will be is a means of controlling the population, of telling us what we can and can’t do, of fining the innocent,” says Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK. “Ddn’t we see it all when we had the pandemic when you had to have vaccine ID to travel, to do various things? Did that stop the Covid pandemic spreading? Did it hell. All it did was put cost and inconvenience on everyone else.

“I also worry about massive data banks being held by the Government being hacked by foreign governments, by private companies, by criminals,” Farage added. “I do not see a single benefit to the Government having digital ID, other than them controlling what we do, what we spend and where we go.”
