The last time Tommy Robinson went to prison, prominent Muslims bragged he would be beaten to death by the Islamists inside jail. Instead, he came out doubly alive; he became a Christian in his cell, according to associates.
“Sixteen years ago when I first started speaking out against Islamic rape gangs that were plaguing this country, from that point on I faced relentless attacks from the British state wielding lawfare as a weapon in order to silence me,” said Tommy, sporting a cross around his neck, after he emerged from prison.
On Tuesday, Tommy is scheduled for a court decision that could send him to jail for the third time since 2019 for his role in exposing Muslim crimes. (UPDATE: Tommy was cleared of the trumped up charges.) He’s received the backing of Elon Musk, whose posts on X basically forced the UK to finally do a nationwide inquiry into the grooming gangs
According to Tommy, 90% of street grooming gangs are Pakistani, Northern Indian, Bangladeshi and other Muslim immigrants – an over-representation for ethnicity. Most Muslims are peaceful and law-abiding, he says. Other immigrants don’t have such an over-representation in sex crimes, he says.
“If we’ve got 4 million British Muslims now who think Muhammad was perfect and Muhammad married a 6-year-old girl and he had sex with her when she was 9, we’re going to have a problem,” Tommy says. :If Muhammad beheaded and took sexual slaves, we’re going to have a problem.”
In the legacy media, Tommy – whose real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon – is never mentioned without being identified as “far-right.” The uproar over the grooming gangs and flagrant antisemitism has rallied to Tommy’s defense millions of people inside and outside of the UK in his group Unite the Kingdom He’s staged massive marches.

“While Tommy was in prison, he was incarcerated for seven months and held in solitary confinement. Three weeks before his release, I went to visit him in prison,” said UK Pastor Rikki Doolan. “I know he took a Bible into prison, and he was also being visited by the prison chaplain three times a week. I had a two-hour visit, we spoke about the gospel, and he received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, right there in the prison.”

Mayhar Tousi of Tousi TV and Bob of Speaker’s Corner also vouch for Robinson’s new faith.
Can Robinson be blamed for taking up the voice of voiceless victims of grooming gang rape? His cousin’s cousin fell prey to them in Luton Town, where he grew up, he says.
“My cousin’s cousin Janette was sexually abused, she was groomed, she was raped,” Tommy says. “She woke up one day and she was found running semi naked from Barry Park” in a Muslim neighborhood. She got hooked on heroin and her suppliers were her abusers, he adds.
Luton Town was a place for street toughs, and Robinson learned how to never back down. His past is checkered with fights, crimes and racist associates, from whom he says he’s distanced himself consistently through the years.
Luton Town was a place for Muslim immigrants. Today its is 33% Muslim. As a boy growing up, he saw Jews being spat upon or threatened. He saw residents being attacked in attempts to run them out of the neighborhood, he says.
Tommy grew up and became the de facto leader of the English Defence League, some of whose members indulged racism. The EDL is now defunct. Tommy says he’s cleaned out his new organization by banning masks; if anyone does anything inappropriate, they’re identifiable, including if they are government plants, he says.
His most recent imprisonment for about seven months was for releasing his video Silenced he says exposed a grooming gang criminal, but the court said the supposed perpetrator was innocent of the allegations. Silenced has been viewed 167M times at last count.
In his latest court case, the UK government invoked the anti-terrorist act demanding access to his phone, which he refused as a citizen journalist protecting contact confidentiality. He says he was targeted by a government “fishing expedition” at a border entry at Channel Tunnel at Folkstone.
“Why would Tommy Robinson be detained under the Terrorism Act? He’s not a terrorist,” wrote Ezra Levant of the conservative Rebel News of Canada. “The answer is the powers granted to police under Schedule 7… you do not have the right to remain silent under it.
“It’s an outrageous abuse of the law. I’m worried he can’t get a fair trial and will be sent to prison,” Levant added. “A journalist detained under the Terrorism Act, grilled about his conservative politics, while 43,000 jihadis walk free.”
Just like in his days at Luton, Tommy is not backing down.
