Targeted explosions on Day 9 of Iran’s uprising

Explosions all over Iran appear to be taking out military production sites and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps bases on Day 9 of the uprising that threatens to overthrow the repressive Islamist terror government after 46 years of Machiavellian rule.

A “dairy” factory was shown on video to billowing black smoke with hot red flames that indicated that more than milk was actually produced there, as show on Tousi T.V. Speculation is that Mossad agents have developed a list of targets, just as it did prior to the June air raids that hit ballistic missile sites, nuclear facilities and even targeted high-ranking IRGC leaders.

At publication, 19 people were reportedly killed by the regime — a tiny number — and 990 were arrested. Many observers are cynical of the current developments with no hope for regime change because previous uprisings have been halted by crackdowns that amount to massacres.

What is different now is President Trump has threatened to intervene if Iran kills peaceful protesters. He just showed he’ll follow through when he arrested Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela, and the Iranian people are heartened by recent current events.

The Iranian people are also frustrated because of nose-diving currency, skyrocketing inflation, scarcity of water — new developments to send people over the boiling point with what was their irritation with the religious repression (Mahsa Amini was arrested and killed by morality police for not wearing her hijab correctly in September 2022).

“The IRGC is defeated on Iran’s streets,” proclaimed Tousi T.V., which is run by an Iranian immigrant in the U.K. with contacts in Iran.

Even though Ali Khamenei threatened the slaughter of protesters (as he always does), this time is different. The regime is at its weakest ever. Soldiers and police are being given the opportunity to defect to the transition government, headed by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. They’ll have to ask themselves who the future belongs to. If they think the IRGC will retain power in this critical moment, they’ll shoot protesters. If they think a new government will be installed, they may switch sides.

From exile, Pahlavi raised the stakes by threatening the security apparatus that if they shoot protesters now, they will be apprehended and submitted to court proceedings later.

At the same time, Trump’s threats and Israel’s willingness to intervene for its own protection may involve military action to topple the weakened IRGC.

Cops and soldiers in Iran, think very carefully who is your new boss.
