The Muslim-vote-courting Leftists dominant in European politics are playing “Let’s pretend.” Let’s pretend Islam is NOT a threat. Let’s pretend Donald Trump is a threat. Let’s pretend we no longer need defense budget and can lavish on social justice.
The current blowup of NATO comes as a result.
After endeavoring in vain to form a viable coalition against the Evil Iranian Regime (Europeans washed their hands of it and said it’s not their war), President Trump walked away from trying to open the Strait of Hormuz to assure the flow of oil tankers and decent gas prices.

“All those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of the Iran, I have a suggestion for you: #1 buy from the U.S. we have plenty and #2 build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait and just take it,” Trump posted on X.
“You’ll have to learn how to start fighting for youself, the USA won’t be there for you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us,” he added.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, formed to counter the USSR’s communist bid for world takeover, is in disarray: the U.S. carries the lion’s share of burden, Europe receives the lion’s share of benefit.
Then, far-left leaders like U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer sanctimoniously condemn Trump and rack up votes (among Leftists and Muslims) back home. They distance themselves from Trump and demonize Trump. They weren’t consulted before the outbreak of hostilities, the prigs whine.

But if Trump follows through with the abandonment of NATO, they’ll really cry. They’ll be extremely vulnerable. They’re only fortunate right now that Russia is bogged down in Ukraine AND Iran, which showed it has the capability to attack London with a missile, is beaten down. In a couple years, who knows.

“Can you really blame America if America pulls out NATO troops of European soil?” says Harris Sultan, an immigrant from Pakistan to Australia. “European countries just massively slashed their defense budget in the name of peace dividends (after the Soviet Union collapsed) and built generous welfare societies with universal health care… and all that crap.
“It is such a good deal for the Europeans — and Australia — to have a big brother like America,” Sultan lashed out. “And you spit in the face of that country that is literally subsidizing your defense?“
As someone who escaped Islamdom, Sultan has no patience for the incessant pandering Lefties do to radical Islam. As a byproduct the historic cooperation between Leftists and Islamists, Europeans don’t comprehend in depth the world conquest inherent in Islam, especially Iran’s ambitions, he says.
“Iran is a threat to the free world,” Sultan says. “Iran is not just a threat to America or Israel… We just want to pretend like cowards, oh we don’t want to get our hands dirty. Oh look, Muslims, see, we told Trump piss off. We should be supporting America.”
As one who left Pakistan AND Islam, Sultan knows a thing or two about the truth. He was an engineer in Australia with no intention of wading into controversy. But when he saw Mashal Khan killed for a false blasphemy accusation at the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in 2017, Sultan decided to speak out against Islam.

Sultan began a podcast exposing the errors, lies and extremes of Islam that has led many thousands to leave Islam.
Republican strategist John Jordan said liberals are worse than naive to ignore the threat.
“If we’d had let them get a nuclear weapon and continue to to expand their conventional ballistic missile production, you really think that that theocratic regime of crazies that was bringing death and destruction throughout the world — killing gay people, making women wear hijabs, preventing women from having career opportunities — you really think that they were going to stop there?” Jordan says.
“They really wanted to to spread this throughout the world and create a caliphate,” he adds. “They made no secret of this.”
Labour Party, both in the UK and Australia, depends on the Muslim vote to retain power, so it’s not popular to fight against Shi’ite Iran — or crack down on calls to gas the Jews or rape the Jews.
This sort of glossing over egregious faults of Muslims in an attempt to stay in power is not going to end well. When Australian PM Anthony Albanese tried to show solidarity with Muslims by attending prayer during Ramadan at the Lakemba Mosque, at which he was booed, shouted at hostiley and accused of supporting genocide.

Despite every clear sign of the dangers and hostility of Islam, Leftists remain steadfastly supportive. Let’s pretend.
Was Trump wrong to ignore the UK when planning the attack on Iran with Israel? The question more appropriately should be, what could the UK offer in the War on Iran? The once-feared Royal Navy has shrunk significantly due to budget cuts. Furthermore, some ships are in maintenance and are not operable currently.
So Trump ignored an irrelevant military force. But when he asked to use airfields, the UK declined.

The fallout of Trump leaving the Strait is that Britain and 39 other nations met to discuss how to open it themselves. By closing the Strait, Iran is driving up fuel and food prices. Some nations are close to running out. Australia has 500 gas stations that are extremely low on fuel.
Well, good luck, Britain.
