A fiery preacher warning Americans to hold billionaires accountable that racked up hundreds of thousands of views is now the most popular preacher.
There’s only one problem: He’s not real.
He’s AI generated. And his passionate sermon, aligned with progressive ideals, not Biblica ideals, apparently fooled thousands of people who didn’t know they were being sabotaged by a woke liberal.
“Billionaires are the only minority we should be scared of,” Pastor AI says. “They’ve got the power to destroy this country. They don’t need your protection. They need your accountability.”
If that sort of message resonates with you, you may be tempted to repost. The video belongs to a series of AI-generated videos on Guided by Graces on Instagram and TikTok. The channel clocked in 100M views across all platforms.
On Nick Jones‘s channel where it was exposed, commenters scattered opinions across the spectrum.
“The bible warns there will be a great deception,” commented Paulina Hernandez.
“That’s disturbing! I think that AI will be the image of the beast. You cannot convince me otherwise,” said @princessgumbo.
@sarita8655 wasn’t hoodwinked: “He’s wearing a catholic priest costume while scream in sermons like a fire and Brimstone southern Baptist . They can’t even impersonate correctly.”
“That looks like 200 million itching ears to me. Pray for our world,” says @NoblePancakesLashleyMcfunk.
Other AI pastors preach parody: a pastor who parks his gold-plated Bentley on stage of the church, a pastor who encourages fornication.
Not all of them are bad. Pastor Sasquatch preaches the unadulterated word in humorous manner.
