In a last ditch effort to stave off the inevitable overthrow, the Islamic regime in Iran broadcast Tucker Carlson — yes, formerly conservative Tucker Carlson! — on its national TV.
Tucker Carlson once was an anchor on Fox News, where he beat CNN and MSNBC, but since going it alone, he gets 1-3M views per podcast. He built his reputation on commonsense no-nonsense conservative commentary but of late has taken a bizarre turn, speaking favorably of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and soft-balling Nick Fuentes.
He was famous for waking up America to the dangers of Islam, but in an about-face, he now likes Islamist dictators and slams only Israel. His comments on Iran provided the material Iran needed in its last attempt to prop up the regime.
The choice for Tucker is strange. They could have picked a sermon by one of their fiery imams — but then again the people have burned down mosques and 2/3 of all mosques have closed for lack of attendance.
They cut the internet, started indiscriminate killing of protesters, blamed the U.S. and Israel, threatened to overthrow Trump. Nothing seemed to work.
Then they turned to their last resort: Tucker Carlson.
We suppose congratulations are in order: Kudos to Carlson, who went from repressive regime fanboy to repressive regime spokesman.
