The days of appeasing Iran, of balancing militias around the Middle East and of restraining Israel are over. The Nov. 2025 National Security Strategy document promotes Israel from ally to anchor in threat deterrence from the region.
“Israel is more than an American ally now,” says Daniel Seaman, former senior official of Israel’s prime minister’s office. “It is a central pillar of American strategy. Israel is described in the document as a model ally, the example Washington wants other partner to emulate. It notes Israel’s military achievements over the past year against Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis in Yemen.
The document “openly criticizes the previous administration for restricting Israel’s freedom of action and clarifies that the new policy is to empower Israel,” Seaman adds. “A strong Israel is a top American interest, not as a partner that it needs to protect but as a regional anchor of U.S. interest.”
Maybe that’s why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could get an emergency meeting with President Trump on Feb. 11, unlike pretty much any other world leader. What was the matter to urgently discuss behind closed doors?

Perhaps, Israel — whose intelligence calculated risks and strategies to perfection in its June 12-day air war over Iran — had critical new intelligence relevant to Trump’s negotiations. Trump said he would prefer a deal: Netanyahu said Israel might strike alone.
Meanwhile, the U.S. is now sending the USS Gerald Ford super aircraft carrier to Iran, bringing to three the strike groups just off the coast of Iran. Trump, it was revealed, sent 6,000 Starlink terminals into Iran to overcome the Internet blackout imposed by the Iranian Regime deadset on killing its own citizenry to retain power at all costs.
On behalf of BRICS, China has been sending cargo plane after cargo plane into Iran, possibly given them sophisticated radars and detections systems.
Lebanon is being increasingly pressured to stop allowing Hezbollah free reign to operate in its territory. The latest pressure comes from Kuwait, which placed eight Lebanese hospitals on its terrorism sanctions list for working with or being controlled by Hezbollah. Wut? Hospitals fronting for terrorism??? (It happened in Gaza despite vociferous denials by the mainstream media.)
