At center of mayhem, one Iranian cleric

At the vortex of Iran’s implacable determination to utterly destroy Israel and kill Jews is one man: Mehdi Taeb, a hardline theologian who says the Shi’ite’s 12th imam won’t return until Israel is completely wiped out.

“Observers must remove the obstacles to the emergence of the Imam of the Age, the most important of which is the existence of the usurper regime of Israel,” the 61-year-old cleric is quoted in a Middle East Institute report in 2022.

As such, Taeb can be said to be the cause of the Gaza conflagration, the Houthi hostility and the Hezbollah hell. It’s not a stretch to blame him as the starting point for antisemitism sweeping TikTok, IG and college campuses across America.

Taeb’s outsized influence shows how dangerous ideas can be. Karl Marx is responsible for up to 148 million deaths by inventing communism. Taeb pushes for as many deaths (Jewish deaths) as possible.

On Day 16 of the uprising, some 2,000 Iranians have been killed and 10,000 arrested. Now desperate, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps shut off the internet, including jamming Starlink signal (to 80% effectiveness), to be able to kill secretly, but some videos are still getting out.

Israel is on high alert after Iran threatened to launch its 500 remaining Kheibar ballistic missiles, and President Trump is threatening military strikes against Iran for killing unarmed civilians. He also announced a 25% tariff hike on any nation trading with/supporting Iran.

Taeb is the commander of the Ammar Strategic Base, an ideology-promoting hub.

In 2022, Taeb said the Holocaust is a lie, the gas chambers never existed and the Jews have been masters of deceit throughout history — everything you hear from Nick Fuentes and leftist conspiracy mongers.

He blamed the U.S. for Covid.

“Iran must not enter into any negotiations because our state has expressed readiness to hasten the moves that are imperative to bringing about the re-emergence of the hidden Imam (Mahdi),” he said in 2019.

His brother, Hossein Taeb, has even more power in the IRGC ecosystem, as head of IRGC Intelligence Organization from 2009 to 2022.

In Shia Islam, the 12th imam, or Mahdi, will come to the world to restore justice after widespread oppression, end tyranny and corruption, establish moral order based on Allah’s justice. Doesn’t sound bad, right? Extremist clerics link his return to apocalyptic hadiths calling for the killing of the Jews.
