Don’t idolize Trump.
While progressives have completely demonized the 47th president, it’s not right for the opposite side of the political spectrum to idolize him. He’s not the Savior of the world. He is just a man. You may agree with some/a lot of his policies, but he’s a sinner just like you and me.
The case of the Epstein list illustrates. It now appears that Trump is trying to squash what was basically a campaign promise to make public all the clients who went and had sex with minors on Epstein’s Island. Then last week, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said no list exists and that Epstein committed suicide.

FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino have threatened to resign over the apparent lack of transparency of Bondi. The MAGA voters reacted largely with disgust, feeling betrayed by the man who promised to drain the swamp of Washington.
On July 16, Trump reacted to MAGA outrage: “The Democrats’ new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker… Let these weaklings continue forward… I don’t want their support anymore!”
No, Mr. Trump, it’s not a Democrat scam. Some 1,000 underage girls were raped by powerful men. Actually, MAGA voters thought these powerful men were mostly Democrats, but now one wonders since you are quashing the controversy.
Then he said on ABC news “I don’t understand why… Epstein keeps going. It’s pretty boring stuff… I think only pretty bad people… want to keep something like that going.”

It’s not boring. It’s horrifying and parties need to be held accountable. The people who worry about kids are not bad people. The people who perpetrated the rapes are bad people.
Trump has had pretty smooth sailing in his presidency up until now. This is a stain ruining his legacy.
Mr. Trump, you keep saying you want peace, you don’t want deaths from wars in Ukraine, Gaza and Iran. Are you truly interested in helping people or do you just want the Nobel Peace Prize so that you can keep self-aggrandizing. If you truly care for people, you should care about the girls taken advantage on Epstein Island.
Right now, one of the theories making the rounds on the Internet is that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad spy. The idea is that Mossad kept incriminating video footage of Washington powerbrokers as a bargain chip to force them to support Israel. Since Bondi didn’t release the full load of documents, this theory can’t be dismissed, and no amount of presidential whining will sway people from a innate sense that they’re being bull-sh–ted. They were bull-sh–tted by Biden and now they feel bull-sh–ted by Trump.
It’s about the kids. It’s not about a Democrat scam.
In Trump’s first election, he was trailing. Late one night, he called up Pastor Paula White-Cain, an dynamic Christian minister he’d seen on T.V. Paula White flew out and encouraged the candidate. Reportedly, Trump received Jesus into his heart; he was born-again.
His policies shifted. Famously, his unreserved support for abortion shifted to pro-life, for example.
Whatever Trump did before coming to Christ is typical sin. After coming to Christ, according to Christian doctrine, he must make genuine effort to live in repentance. Some sins are completely impossible once you’ve become a Christian, other minor offenses are still inevitable, and we ask for forgiveness from Jesus.

If Trump is among the evil, evil, evil rich and powerful who used little girls on Epstein Island, he needs to be held accountable. If he escapes accountability in this world, he won’t in the Judgment Day.
In the meantime, I’m pretty disgusted with his attempts to get people to stop thinking about the underage victims who deserve justice more than he’ll ever deserve a Nobel Peace Prize.
