Nhermine served Allah for 33 years, but when she was struck with ovarian cancer, she asked Jesus, if he was real, to reveal himself.
“I heard a voice telling me to turn around,” she says in French.
She was skeptical and didn’t turn. The voice repeated. She turned.
“I took several steps backwards there was the head of Jesus, enormous,” she tells, as translated from French on ExMuslim Testimonies. “His eyes are not like our eyes.
“There are all the universes in his eyes. He looked at me and pierced my heart. For a Muslim woman, this was incomprehensible.”
Nhermine, a psychiatrist specialized in addiction, wanted to be baptized, which she did on July 13, 2018. “I saw spirits coming out of me,” she says.
Four years of pain disappeared. On July 17, she showed her exam results to a gynecologist, who said they needed to do treatments and an operation.
“I looked at him with a smile,” she recalls, and told him: “You don’t know what I am going to tell you. I’m healed.”
The doctor was incredulous. But upon conducting an ultrasound, he saw that not only was there no mass, but the ovaries were just fine (previously, they had been rendered dead by the cancer).
“My ovaries were dead,” she tells. “They came back to life.”
What happened? How did you get healed? The doctor asked.
“I met Jesus six days ago,” she responded.
The doctor, who was Jewish, told her she had better keep it quiet and not tell anyone that God healed her.
“Impossible,” she responded. “I want the whole world to know that Jesus is alive.”
She began to pray for people everywhere, and they got healed – in the bakery, in the hairdresser. To her uncle who suffered severe arthritis in the knee and limped, she asked if she could pray for him. “No,” he replied, telling her to keep Jesus to herself.
“Why not? What do you have to lose?” her grandmother chimed in. “Let’s see if what she says is true.”
So she prayed for him. The pain went from 7/10 to zero. “He began running around the house,” Nhermine tells.
Not only that, his glaucoma disappeared – something for which she hadn’t even prayed.
Her father’s tinnitus was healed – as was his back pain. His double vision, healed.
He gave his life to Jesus.
