Rapper Snoop Dogg just savaged Disney‘s 2022 movie Lightyear for its lesbian scenes.
“My grandson, in the middle of the movie is like, ‘Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman!’” Snoop said in an August It’s Giving Podcast. “He just kept firing off questions: “‘They just said, she and she had a baby — they’re both women. How does she have a baby?’”
“It f–ked me up,” he added. “I’m scared to go to the movies now. Y’all throwing me in the middle of sh-t that I don’t have an answer for. It threw me for a loop. I’m like, ‘What part of the movie was this?’ These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions. I don’t have the answer.”
Snoop’s criticism met instantly with a backlash from the LGBTQ/woke community which characterized it as homophobic.
Behind the criticism lies a much bigger issue that blacks shifted for Trump in the 2024 election and nobody seems to be considering the shove-down-your-throat propaganda of the Left might be the cause of the desertion.
Kamala Harris lost 10% of young black men compared to Biden. Trump got only 9% of black voters in 2020. In the last election, he jumped to 13% of black voters of all ages. The huge numbers that Democrats thought they could count on are shifting. Black voters are more socially conservative than white voters, so maybe its the extreme wokeism that has turned them off.
Leftist say that portraying minorities, including LGBTQ, gives positive role models to kids. Conservatives say they’re grooming future generations of LGBTQ.
The words of Snoop reveal what may be the thinking of many quiet voters who are disgusted with the way events have turned in recent years: biological men invading girls bathrooms and girls sports, promoting and enabling gender transition to kids in schools — in the name of equality and helping kids be their “true selves.”
Snoop’s remarks are even more startling when one remembers that he is no picture of prim purity. The vulgar hip hop star made no bones about being a pimp. But what emerges from so many in the sex industry is a line drawn in the sand: let people do what they want, but leave kids alone.
This is the message that the Left can’t seem to understand. They praise Drag Queen story time with kids in which sexual acts are flaunted.

While the U.S. moved under Biden towards helping kids transition gender, the United Kingdom — which is significantly further left on most issues than the U.S. — moved away from gender reassignment surgeries for kids, strong warning against and limiting the life-changing decisions.
Both sides of the issue have their case studies. The Left points to testimonials of people who feel liberated by being able to change gender during childhood. The Right points to people who regret making a life-altering decision so young.
Lightyear, a spinoff of Pixar’s Toy Story, portrayed a lesbian couple kiss and raise a child together.
