In 1983, a Hezbollah operative drove a TNT-laden Mercedes van through a barricade and into a Marine barracks in Lebanon, killing 241 servicemen. Iran was behind the attack, but Iran skated free.
In the Iraq war between 2003 and 2011, Iran supplied and trained Iraq insurgents with Explosively Formed Penetrators to kill 603 U.S. servicemen. Iran skated free.
In 2023, Iran funded and trained Hamas operatives to attack Israel, and 1,200 were killed. Since 2006, Iran has funded and trained Hezbollah to launch rockets and fight Israelis. Death toll: 184 Iran skated free.

During his first administration, Donald Trump too (finally) revenge and on the madman mastermind behind the mayhem, Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani with a Hellfire missile from an MQ-9 Reaper drone in Baghdad.
Iran fired two ballistic missiles at U.S. military bases, causing traumatic brain injuries to 100 U.S. soldiers at the Ain al-Asad and another base in Erbil in Iraq. Trumps hands were tied up with other things — and Iran skated again.
So the mean men of Iranian jihad learned during 47 years that they would never face repercussions for their attacks. They got their proxies (including also the Houthis in Yemen) to do the dirty work, but the brains behind the operation skated free.

There have been more attacks on Americans:
- 17 Americans killed in the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut on April 18, 1983.
- 19 U.S. airmen killed in the Khobar Towers bombing in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia on June 25, 1996.
- 5 U.S. soldiers killed in the Karbala Raid in Iraq on Jan. 20, 2007.
- 3 U.S. soldiers killed in the Tower 22 drone attack in Jordan on Jan. 28, 2024.
- Pro-Iranian forces have attacked U.S. troops 160 times in Iraq, Syria and Jordan from October 2023 to February 2024.
Iran directed, funded and prepped these attacks — but always skated free.

In a world where liberals think “diplomacy” can solve every problem, the fanatics of Islamic terror from Iran have used talks only to gain time to rebuild weapons.
While neglecting the economy of its country, while neglecting its basic infrastructure, the Iranian regime returned IMMEDIATELY to rebuilding its ballistic missiles and restoring its nuclear weapon program, after the bombing of June.
Iran returned IMMEDIATELY to repressing its people (1999: 9 killed, 1,000+ arrested; 2009: up to 200 killed, 4,000 arrested; 2017-18: 21 killed, 3,700 arrested; 2019: up to 1,500 killed; 2022-23: 550 killed, 20,000+ arrested AND OF COURSE THE WAR-TRIGGING PROTESTS of 2026: estimated 36,500 deaths).
The Iran regime always skated free and got away with it.
Until now.
Trump decided finally that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps needed to be taught the only lesson they could learn — a lesson in power. For the first time in its half century history, the Shi’ite Islamists of Iran have faced consequences for killing others.
Whether the current war results in a change of regime in Iran remains to be seen. Regardless, somebody somewhere at some time had to have the balls to beat up a bully. If you can’t leave people the f— alone, you’re gonna get a smack down.
American spends $100B a year in safe-guarding itself against terror domestically. Why not spend a few more bucks to try and eradicate it at its source?
